Our in-house builders execute each community design with quality and sustainability in mind. Each home is inspected daily for craftsmanship and quality to ensure we deliver on our promises to every C.W. Urban resident and every one of our neighborhoods.

CEO & Founder
How did you get into the housing industry?
I grew up in development/homebuilding. My dad was one of the owners of largest homebuilders in Utah, so it's in my blood. After school it was a natural progression for me to start in land acquisition for developers. I was an area manger for the largest private Utah homebuilding company, and the rest is history.
Tell us a little about your past experience.
Well, I have more than 15 years of experience in land development, mixed-use projects and homebuilding. I have launched multiple real estate companies and sold one as well.
Brag a little and tell us something you’ve been proud of accomplishing in your career.
I was able to capitalize on the downturn and launched Henry Walker Homes in the recession. As CEO, I grew Henry Walker Homes (HWH) to be one of the five largest homebuilders in Utah with sales in 2013 totaling more than $150 million.
How did you become so knowledgeable in the real estate industry?
I came to C.W. Urban with 13 plus years of experience in real estate development. I have been on the executive team for some of the top five homebuilders in Utah. My area of expertise has always been operations, sales and marketing. This has allowed me to be a student of the Utah real estate market for many years. She is the queen!
What's your secret sauce?
I am insanely passionate and committed to our company mission, culture and people. I have surrounded myself with the most talented group of people I have ever known. We link arms every day to execute our goals, and we have the best time doing it.
What’s your proudest accomplishment in your career?
As a female in this business, I am a bit of an outlier. I love that, it fuels me. I’m one of the few, possibly the only, female Presidents directing a multi-million dollar real estate development company in Utah.
VP of Design & Architecture
Did you go to school for design and architecture?
I’m one of the lucky ones who always kind of knew my interests could lead to a fulfilling career. I have a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Studies and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Utah.
Tell us a little bit about where you’ve been?
Before joining the C.W. team, I was the Senior Associate Project Manager and Designer at Method Studio in Salt Lake City. I have over 12 years of design experience in various building types.
Describe your design style for us.
I like to focus on modern design and pair it with great attention to detail. I’m a firm believer that “less is more," and that good design can be done on any budget.
What makes you different from every other Finance Director? What strength makes you stand out?
I’m not really sure what other finance directors do, but I think my strength is the experience and the skills I have learned in multifamily appraisal and consulting.
Tell us about your background, and what brought you to C.W. Urban.
I spent over 10 years as an apartment appraiser and consultant working with lenders, developers, non-profits, and municipalities all over Utah, western Colorado, Wyoming, southern Idaho and North Dakota. I went back to school and earned an MRED degree from the University of Utah because I wanted to translate the underwriting, valuation, and market analysis skills I had learned into development and investment. I was impressed with the projects CW Urban was doing and saw that they were filling a need that no one else was with urban for-sale housing.
Why do you love what you do?
I am really excited about the projects that we are building. I love the CW Urban culture and the talented people that I work with. I’m a nerd, and love the analytical and problem solving aspects of my job.
Give us some background on your qualifications.
I have been a leading sales consultant for 14 plus years with a primary focus in new construction.
What’s a talent of yours?
I’d say leadership. I’ve worked in many leadership capacities with area home builders and I see it as one of my strengths.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy discovering my clients’ wants, needs and dreams of home ownership and also helping facilitate the reality when they find their new dream home.
Director of Operations
Does real estate run deep in your veins?
Basically. I was raised in the new and remodeling construction industry in the Chicagoland area.
That sounds interesting, tell us a little more about your experience.
Well, I have five years of experience in the architectural hardware industries and 26 years managing and building with some top, nationally-ranked builders.
That warrants some bragging rights, go for it.
Ok, for two years, with two separate builders, I played a big role in their rating of being #1 highest customer satisfaction in the country for a top 100 builder.
